Player Development: Commitment Agreement
All of us at Softball Factory are committed to help and assist each and every player we see across the country. We spend lots of time and resources to travel to as many cities around the United States as possible. We exert this effort in order to find players who need our help and guidance along the path to college softball. We are committed to give you, the player, and the parents as much of our knowledge and time as possible to ensure your journey through softball is smooth and successful.
Our National Tournament Teams and training events are comprised of players who are selected from National Tryouts up to six months in advance. Once a player is selected and she accepts to play and represent Softball Factory, it is important to understand that she is committing 100% to her team and must be ready to compete and train. Our National player selection process allows us to choose players across the entire U.S.A. You are competing with players from all 50 states for a spot on one of our prestigious teams. If you are selected and commit to play both Softball Factory and your teammates are counting on you.
Remember, the Softball Factory program will enhance your abilities and experience to better prepare you for college softball. College coaches expect you to be prepared to play at the collegiate level. Play hard and have fun!
Player Development/Exclusive Program: Refund Policy
For all Softball Factory Player Development events (national team and training) and the company’s Exclusive College Recruiting Program, a commitment fee* is required to secure participation. This commitment fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable. For player cancellation in excess of 30 days from the event (including injuries, weather related occurrences, personal emergencies, schedule changes, and travel delays) any payments made prior to the event, over and beyond the commitment fee, are transferable without penalty to a future Softball Factory event, as long as the event is within the same calendar year. For all cancellations that occur inside 30 days from the event, any payments made prior to the date of cancellation will be forfeited and may not be transferred to another event, or refunded, unless the player provides a doctor’s note clearly stating that she is physically unable to perform at the event. If a doctor’s note is provided any monies paid, other than the commitment fee, will be transferable to a future Softball Factory event within the same calendar year. Player fees will not be refunded.
*For all events priced $0 – $1,000 the commitment fee is $200. For all events over $1,000 in price the commitment fee is $500.
Under Armour Softball Factory National Tryout, Premium Video Program and Interactive Video Program: Rain Policy
If your session is officially rained out:
- You have the option of applying payments to another Softball Factory event.
- You may have your money refunded in full within 60-90 days.
Please note: Even if it is raining in your area, you will need to report to the field unless contacted by Softball Factory.
An event will be considered an “official rainout” when the entire event is cancelled in full.
If the following occurs all players will be eligible to attend another comparable event at no additional charge:
- No softball activities are able to be completed on the field (i.e. field is ruled unplayable and only batting cages or bullpen are able to be used due to conditions)
- Our scouts are unable to develop a complete report on the players based on limitations caused by the rain
- Our scouts are unable to develop enough of a report for national team and training camp selections to be made
For all players participating in an Under Armour Softball Factory National Tryout, Premium Video Program, or Interactive Video Program, all fees are non-refundable. Fees will be transferable to another event if the player notifies Softball Factory of her intent to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the event. If you are required to make ongoing monthly payments to finalize your registration fees, you are committed to adhering to the payment plan created by the Softball Factory staff.
Merchandise Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with your purchase simply return your item(s) in the original condition including all tags, packaging and accessories within 30 days and you will receive a prompt exchange or refund, excluding shipping charges. We’ll refund shipping charges on incorrectly shipped or defective merchandise. Items that have been worn, used (i.e. EyeBlack), altered, washed or damaged will not be eligible for exchange or refund.
When returning your item(s) be sure to include what you wish to exchange your item for, or simply indicate you wish to receive a refund. We suggest you insure your package since we cannot accept responsibility for uninsured packages. We will send any merchandise you request in exchange via standard ground shipping, unless otherwise noted.
You can return the package on your own by shipping it to Softball Factory, c/o Returns, 9212 Berger Road, Suite 200, Columbia, MD 21046. Be sure to include your full name, address, city, state and zip along with your return information.
