Being named to the inaugural Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament is quite an honor. The chance to be recognized nationwide as one of the top players in the country is a memory players carry with them long after their playing days have ended.

The best of the best receive the chance to represent their region and are presented their Rookie All-American award in front of their peers. Players will be immersed in softball from morning till night, receiving world-class instruction, training and game play as they work with our professional staff, helping to get their skills to the next level!

From one former collegiate All-American to our Pre-Season Rookie All-Americans who will participate in the 2018 event, three-time All-American, Jennie Finch will be on-field, working individually with players to provide outstanding on-the-spot guidance and feedback, designed to give players the ultimate experience from the ultimate softball player!

Check out the action from the 2017 All-America Pre-Season High School Tournament with special guest, USA Olympic Gold Medalist, Jennie Finch. For the first time, Rookie Pre-Season All-Americans will participate in this ultimate experience!

Important Event Info:

  • • Players should bring all necessary equipment for training and competition
  • • Players will receive a Under Armour cleats, jersey and headband
  • • Players will receive online access to Softball Factory’s Recruiting, Education and Development (R.E.D.) Manual
  • • Players receive a detailed player info pack upon registration
  • • Players will attend a hitting and pitching presentation (tentative)
  • • Players and parents will attend the Softball Factory College Recruiting Seminar & Panel Discussion

About Softball Factory’s Senior Director, Lea Ann Jarvis:

Lea Ann is the current Senior Director of Softball Factory. Lea Ann won two World Titles on the USA National Team in 1986 and 1990. She coached at the Division I level for 17 years and was a two-time NCAA All-American while playing for Louisiana Tech.

    In addition to competing against top talent from across the country, Softball Factory Pre-Season Rookie All-Americans will receive the following EXCLUSIVE BENEFITS:
  • SPECIAL APPEARANCE BY JENNIE FINCH: Finch, an Olympic Gold Medalist and three-time collegiate All-American at the University of Arizona, will have personal interaction with the players on-field and will be the featured speaker for players and their families during Opening Ceremony.
  • ONLINE PROFILE FOR MAXIMUM EXPOSURE: The personalized webpage will display professionally edited video from the event, as well as an evaluation from a former college coach. Share the link with friends, family and college coaches to gain additional exposure after the event.
  • TOP TALENT RECOGNITION: Final rosters will be displayed online and players rated as having “Top Tools” from the event will receive special recognition.

  • A JUMPSTART ON YOUR SPRING SEASON: By competing against other Softball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-Americans, players are better prepared to succeed during the upcoming spring season.
  • ELITE UNDER ARMOUR GEAR: You’ll be outfitted in an official Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Team uniform, including Under Armour cleats, jersey and headband.

Train and compete in game play with our professional staff of former collegiate players and coaches that include:

  • CJ Browder: CJ attended University of South Carolina Beaufort and in her first year led the team in numerous offensive categories including batting average, homeruns, RBI’s and runs scored. She received the Sun Conference Player of the Year Award, 1st Team All- Conference, NAIA All American, NFCA All American and NFCA 1st Team All Region. CJ finished her playing career at Reinhardt University. We bring in the experts to work with you on all aspects of your game.
  • Nicki Trumpler: Coach Trumpler played for Mount St. Mary’s University from 1995-1999 where she was a two sport Division I athlete. As a four year starter at first base, Nicki helped rebuild the program and helped the Mountaineers advance to the conference championship her senior year. She led the Mount in various offensive and defensive categories and received All-Northeast Conference honors her senior season. She also was named Northeast Conference scholar athlete of the year that same season. Nicki was recently inducted into the MSM Hall of Fame for her impact while an athlete there. Currently she is at the helm of the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers. Under Trumpler, the Cavaliers have won the conference championship three times. She was also named Coach of the year three times for the Baltimore Metro area.

Translate your skills from practice into live game situations

  • • Take what you have learned in individual position training and apply it in a simulated game.
  • • Our coaches will make adjustments based on observations they make during live game play.
  • • There will be a focus on pre-college preparation of team fundamentals.
  • • One-on-one and small group training will focus on improving each player’s confidence.
