For all Softball Factory programs, under any circumstance, program fees are non-refundable. For all cancellations, customer cancellation or event cancellation, any monies paid will be transferable to a future Softball Factory program.


Softball Factory National Showcase’s – No Refund/Rain/Cancellation/Withdraw Policy

The following statement is on the entry/waiver form and pertains to all teams when they register for our National Showcase Events: “the Team understands and agrees that there will be no refunds for any reason.”

All participants must and should understand that from time to time that due to weather, a Pandemic, a natural disaster and/or other issues out of the control of the Softball Factory, that events may be unable to be played from start to finish. When these unpredictable events occur, teams will not lose their entry fee and/or deposit paid, but rather the following policies will apply:

  • If the event is postponed, the team can request that the entry be moved to the new date or they can request a credit towards any future event.
  • If the event is cancelled prior to the start of the event, all teams will receive a full credit towards any future event.
  • If the event is cancelled or postponed prior to a team’s ability to play in an expected amount of minimum games, 60% of the scheduled games, they can opt to play on the new date if postponed or receive a 40% credit towards a future event. Games counting are not determined by innings played, but rather by games started.
  • If the event starts and due to scheduling the team is unable to play any games and the event is cancelled or postponed, they can opt to play on the new date or receive 80% credit towards a future event.

If the event is cancelled or postponed by the Softball Factory due to the event not reaching a minimum number of teams to be played:

  • You have the option of applying payments to another Softball Factory event or transferring the credit to an individual within your organization for use in our Player Development or Introduction events.
  • You can request in writing to have your money refunded in full within 30-60 days.

WITHDRAW POLICY:

If after registering and paying the deposit and/or entry fee a team decides to withdraw

14-Day Cancellation or Withdraw Rule
If a team cancels or withdraws greater than 14 days prior to the event they will receive full credit, good for up to 1 year, towards a future event. No Refunds.

7-14 Days Cancellation or Withdraw Rule
If a team cancels between 7 and 14 days of an event, for any reason, they will receive a 50% credit towards a future event. No Refunds.

7 Day Cancellation or Withdraw Rule
If a team cancels within 7 days of an event, for any reason, they forfeit all rights to any refund and/or future credit.

Housing Policy
If an event is cancelled or postponed, the housing partners of the Softball Factory will handle notification and reconciliation with the hotels as is included in their contracts with those properties. Groups that book hotels outside of the housing partners will be responsible for any applicable hotel policies on their own.

EXCEPTIONS/POLICY TO ALL OF THE ABOVE:

Exceptions and other considerations to these rules can be made due to acts of God and/or circumstances out of the hands of all parties involved.

Only the team contact on record may use, designate, or relinquish the credit. Such requests must be in writing.
