The Softball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament brings together a selection of the nation’s top 6th – 8th grade players from across the country. Every player is handpicked from our Tour that covers the entire U.S. seeing the Nation’s top talent. You will train and compete against other top talent and receive your Rookie Pre-Season All-America award from USA Gold Medalist, Jennie Finch.

About Dyess Park
Located along Cypress Creek in Spring, Collins Park is a 55-acre park with multiple sports facilities, nature trails and fishing opportunities along the creek. Collins Park features five softball fields, four baseball fields, a soccer field, a basketball pavilion and one sand volleyball court. There are also two playgrounds, a skate park and an amphitheater in addition to picnic areas, barbecue grills and rest room facilities.

Only one event gives you the chance to make your mark on the field as a Softball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-American. Players are handpicked from around the nation to compete in this prestigious event, and are put onto teams based on their region. Teams will then compete in two days of intense competition.
In addition to competing against top talent from across the country, Softball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-Americans receive:
PERSONAL PLAYER WEB PAGE: Softball Factory will build your personal player page with video highlights and a detailed scouting report. Your page is a great way to share your video with travel coaches, analyze your own performance, and begin building your softball resume. If you are looking to get a head start, you can share your page with your future High School Coach, or even College Coaches.
TOP TALENT RECOGNITION: Softball Factory’s Scouting Staff will identify players that display outstanding Top Tools during the Rookie Pre-Season Tournament and will be highlighted on Softball Factory’s Blog!
PROFESSIONAL EVALUATION & GUIDANCE: Before the tournament, Softball Factory scouts will offer training tips to make sure you’re ready for competition. During the event our scouts will work with players one-on-one and in small groups so we can evaluate your talent and write a thorough evaluation.
AWARDS CEREMONY: The weekend will kick off with an awards ceremony where you will hear special keynote speaker, Jennie Finch, and get your official Rookie Pre-Season All-America award.
A JUMP START ON YOUR SPRING SEASON: Playing against this level of competition will help sharpen your game and get you ready for Spring.
SOFTBALL FACTORY RESULTS: 91% of 2019 Division I Women’s College World Series teams included at least 1 Softball Factory Alumna. Over 1,300 Alumnae playing in college and beyond. 11 former Pre-Season All-Americans played in the 2019 Women’s College World Series.
Event Staff has Included:
AJ Hamilton: Coach Hamilton is currently an outfielder and catcher for the USA Womens National Baseball Team. She spent her college softball career with the Georgia Southern Eagles and started all 57 games for her team during her four-year college career, giving her 227 games played total, which has her tied for seventh all-time for career games played. Her 24 career home runs also have her in the schools record books as Hamilton left ranked seventh all-time in program history in that category as well.
Nicki Trumpler: Coach Trumpler played for Mount St. Marys University from 1995-1999 where she was a two sport Division I athlete. As a four year starter at first base, Nicki helped rebuild the program and helped the Mountaineers advance to the conference championship her senior year. She led the Mount in various offensive and defensive categories and received All-Northeast Conference honors her senior season. She also was named Northeast Conference scholar athlete of the year that same season. Nicki was recently inducted into the MSM Hall of Fame for her impact while an athlete there. Currently she is at the helm of the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers. Under Trumpler, the Cavaliers have won the conference championship three times. She was also named Coach of the year three times for the Baltimore Metro area.
